| Native Airbus A330-900neo for MSFS
The A330-900neo is a wide-body jet airliner manufactured by Airbus.
It is an evolution of the popular A330-300 with new improved wings and modern high bypass engines (Rolls-Royce Trent 7000) for better fuel efficiency.
The first A330-900neo entered service on December 15 2018 with the launch partner airline TAP Portugal, it can carry up to 287 passengers with a range of 13300 km.
Currently, we don't consider this aircraft a study-level aircraft.

Installation
- Please remember to delete your previous headwind-a330neo from your community before installing an update. Don't override.
- Simply drag and drop the headwind-a330neo folder into your community.
- Remember to calibrate the throttle from the tablet (EFB).
- Keep in mind that the first loading can be a bit slow.
More:
- You don't need any FBW A32NX installed: This A330-900neo is standalone.
- Chokes and plots are visible when the Beacon switch is OFF, the engines are OFF and the parking brake switch is ON
- The cockpit is based on the default A320 cockpit but semi-customized. This is not perfect but a few changes make it a bit different from an A320 cockpit.
- This is a beta and free version, please be cool.
A330neo Model Exception
The A330neo model used in this project is based on the work of Shervin Ahooraei from Project Open Sky. It is not open source, but we have been granted explicit permission to use it. All rights and credits for this model belong to Shervin Ahooraei. The model cannot be copied, modified, or distributed without his direct permission.
Important information
This aircraft systems are forked from the FBW A32NX project. This means that the systems are more advanced than the default Asobo A320. A cold and dark start requires some knowledge. If you don't know how to start an Airbus, I invite you to follow this tutorial.

A huge thank you to the FBW team without whom this project would not be possible. Please note that this A330neo is completely independent from FBW projects.

Hello dear Headwind team,
I would like to emphasize once again, the Airbus 330-900 Mod is a HAMMER, HAMMER Mod.
Please keep up the good work.
But I want to go back to my comment 13 days ago. Since, I in my eyes, a false claim, because of the nose wheel have set up.
for this I would like to apologize to the Headwind team and write,,, the aircraft,, runs flawlessly, even the landings (tested at 10 landings and also at takeoff) the aircraft can be controlled very well and super. (Experience after 2500 MSFS flying hours on the A330-900) ;oD
I still have two questions:
1. would it be possible to make the colored carpets behind the pedals in the normal color, in the next update? (the pink and green is a little getting used to) ;oD
2. would it also be possible to change these colorful carpets in the black cockpit mod (I think it is JayDee´s Black Cockpit Mod for HW A330 NEO 1.21.1)? Or can the Team contact them to Update the Mod.

(Tested with the Airbus Joystick)
And then test. (I have really had great success with the deactivation, as far as steering is concerned).
The A330-900 can be steered like a Ferrari, Bugatti, Roll-Royce, Lambo or whatever sports car you like ;oD

It would be great to add touch down sound on external view and that the tail light can be turned on without the need of pressing F7 (to increase flaps) Also better control of the throttle, if you press F3 to increase speed (gradually) it goes all the way up, same thing in reverse if you press F2 to decrease it, it goes all the way down. Turning when taxiing could be improved to make it as good as in the A318

BROKEN REVERSE THRUST, MAKE THE PLANE IMPOSSIPLE TO LAND, TAKE OFF, OR TAXI. If throttle goes below 25% it turns on reverse thrust, so you cannot use idle throttle, I am using a Saitek flight pro yoke. this is the second time I tried to downloads this plane, after there was a large update, it is still broken. I guess i have to use the project megapack a330 instead 😞

Don't forget to calibrate your throttles properly. Calibration is identical to the FBW a320

Love how heavy it feels compared to other airliners, It does have a tendency to shimmy while on approach as the speeds decrease. I'm sure it will get better with time. Although it's a bit buggy, it's a pleasure to fly. Thank you for sharing this.

When extracting I get an error reading:
"A320_Neo_CDU_CFDS_Test_Inst_ECAM_Menu
Error 0x80010135 Path too long"
Then when I load the aircraft all screens are black. Whats going wrong?

Thank you. this amazing work but I need help: When on runway or on apron after power up and and ac is loaded to be ready for TO , my pfd didn’t show the normal horizont , it is off but not black screen . all other instruments working

Wow! Just wow. Really impressed by what this project has turned into. A beautiful and functional A330. One of the greatest recent improvements for me was the engine sound. It makes such a difference to speed down a runway with a heavily loaded A330neo that actually sounds like one. There's no better feeling than taking off while hearing those powerful engines in the back. Good job on the sounds!! This aircraft will stay in my library from now on!
Just a tiny thing: The cockpit screens look quite bright at night, even on the lowest level. That may need an adjustment.

It is there.Look on the left side of the tablet screen,the icon down below,with some lines as a thumbnail icon.Then you will see in the upper RIGHT side,the option AIRCRAFT STATES

Hey, is it just me or are the engines a little bigger then the real neo?

I have seen a few comments complaining about the nose wheel steering being sluggish ,etc. while taxing. I have to say it is one of the few commercial jet addons in msfs that, in my opinion taxis like a 400,000lbs+ aircraft feels like it should. It does for some reason start to pull right when full power is applied on TO just pass 60kts. I have taken it on a fairly short 4hr10min flight and had zero problems. AP worked great even when activated at 1,500agl, it also flew the ILS almost perfectly to the aiming point markings. having some FBW integration is awesome as well(just know the aircraft systems). Overall this aircraft should have a better rating considering how far its come. I think people are just critiquing it a little too much , if this was in the marketplace it would at least cost 29.99USD, so im grateful for headwind making this a free addon. 😊
