Airport Bovanenkovo (IATA: BVJ, ICAO: USDB) is an airport in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia serving the Bovanenkovo gas field. The airport has one runway and a heliport. The owner and operator is Gazprom Avia LLC. The airport is of strategic importance for the development of the Bovanenkovskoye field. The airport is located in the northwestern part of the Yamal Peninsula, 40 km from the coast of the Kara Sea, 399 km northwest of the village of Yar-Sale, which is administratively part of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The airfield has one runway with artificial turf. Currently, there are 13 aircraft parking spaces on the apron. Jet fuel is delivered by rail to the Karskaya station and from there is pumped through a pipeline to the airport's fuel depot, the volume of which is 8480 m3[2].
