Hannu Halminen's Restored P-51D Mustang for MSFS
Entrepreneur, aircraft collector and pilot, Hannu Halminen, had a Swedish airforce P-51D restored into the livery of RCAF 424 City of Hamilton Squadron, BA-S.
Registered as NL951HB, this former USAAF P-51D-25-NA passed through many owners from 1945 including, Swedish, Bolivian and Nicaraguan airforces before being repatriated to the U.S. in 1994. After a brief storage period, this Mustang began a long restoration in 2002 at Glenn Wegman’s Fighter Enterprises, Inc. of Florida, USA.
In 2020, Hanuu presented the ' jewel of his aircraft collection ' making it's first post-restoration flight on September 26 near Oshawa, Ontario. He has flown BAS to Hamilton many times to visit the Warplane Heritage Museum at CYHM, the former 424 RCAF Sqn base where, the original BA coded mustangs operated. It's always a thrill for the warplane buffs when Hannu comes around. There is always a good story to tell, and we love looking at the marvelous craftmanship that went into his Mustang's restoration.
You must have Aeroplane Heaven's P-51D for MSFS installed to use this livery
Unzip, drop into your Community folder, or where you keep your addons for MSFS

ENJOY!

I had the opportunity to fly with Hannu in his Harvard back in 1994. Never knew he'd advanced to a Mustang. This repaint might be sufficient reason for me to buy the AH product.
