A pack of fictional air mail liveries for the DC Designs PT-17 Stearman, loosely based on real liveries that Varney Air Lines flew around the Northwestern United States.

Varney flew various air mail planes along the Contract Air Mail (CAM) routes in the 1920s and 1930s including a few diffrent models of Stearman like the Speedmail, but until we get a Speedmail or Swallow J-5 or something similar the Boeing PT-17 will have to take up the air mail duties. Varney would later be bought out by United Aircraft and Transport Corporation and then later bought out again by Robert Six to found Continental.

This package contains 5 liveries in seperate packages so you can delete the ones you don't like. They are fictional but based on some real photos of Speedwings and Swallows. They mostly follow the same pattern with variations.

05, 08 and 32 have their upper left wing painted in different colours, which was the style at the time. 00 has a plain wing and 99 has an all blue top wing with a blue tail. They have different fictional N-Numbers and CAM route numbers on the tail.

These are my very first liveries so no doubt I've made a bunch of errors but I'll try and fix any that prop up.

I made these to go along with the Arrows Across America mod which recreates the old 1920s CAM routes which provided navigation aids with concrete arrows and flashing beacons.
