This folder contains a repaint for the Noorduyn Norseman by BigRadials, in the colors of Norseman #535 C-FLZO as it looked in 1995. Delivered to the USAAF as aircraft No. 44-70270 and assigned to Orlando, Florida.  Assigned to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Cimarron, Texas on April 12, 2022 for disposal as surplus. Sold to the U.S. Forest Service and registered as NC66799.  Imported into Canada as CF-LZO. Reported as having been involved in an accident at Lake Elliot (N50 23, W95 20) with the wreck salvaged in 1953.  It went through several owners and was reported used in the filming of a movie.  It was re-registered to C-FLZO with 631948 Ontario Ltd. on May 29, 1992 {this paint}.  Registered to Wrong Lake Airways, Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 23, 1996. It was rebuilt in 2004 and repainted in dark colours and subsequently converted to a wheeled land-based version. Later did a flyby at a Norseman Festival. Was attempting a flight across the country from its base at Strathmore, Alberta. Unfortunately this effort was terminated at Red Lake Airport, where it was parked. Effectively entered open storage there, where it still sits, now for sale, as recently as late 2021.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
