In the Learjet 35A many has complained about the continuous whine that is heard in the cockpit when switching on the inverters. For some this sound makes the Learjet borderline unflyable, as it is really uncomfortable to listen to over prolonged periods. According to real life Learjet pilots, the inverters are noisy on the real airplane, but they use noise cancelling headphones to block it out. I would say that this is our way to block that sound in MSFS.
I have created a Powershell script that will remove this sound. It is completely reversible, as it simply disables an entry in the sound.xml file. It also creates a backup of the original file so you can always restore the original either manually or by running the script. The script will be able to determine if the mod is installed or not, if you run it again after installing the mod, it will ask if you want to restore the original file. It uses MD5 hash to confirm all files, both before and after modification so it will be able to confirm the integrity of the files both before and after installing the mod, and will alert if anything went wrong and the MD5 hash does not match.
I also included a powershell script that can find the path to the community folder, just in case you don't know where it is. After finding the path, it gives the option to open the folder or to exit the script.
Thnx 👍
